UPDATE: Just over two months in, and they're super pilly, and squashed-looking at the heels (see grass photos). I work mostly from home, though, so I wear them a LOT. They're past the point that I would want to accidentally leave the house in them, and looking at them doesn't bring me a little thrill of joy, but.they're slippers. What may be more telling is that I just accidentally sat with the soles pressed against the radiator, and melted a hole in the bottom of the right slipper, so I ordered another pair. Still the best slippers. Just don't be as dumb as I am, and yours will last longer.ORIGINAL REVIEW: I have incurably cold feet & a spouse who watches the thermostat carefully, and I have been trying to replace my slippers (at an affordable price point) for a year. At this point, I could have bought a pair of $100 slippers with the collected slipper money (and probably should have). There's always something wrong--the Isotoner ballet flats kept slipping off every few steps (AAARRGGHH). The grocery store slippers tied around the ankle, but flopped around the feet. The moccasins with fake lambswool lining worked, but weren't very warm, were ugly, developed a weird smell, and had a leather tie that kept coming untied before ultimately breaking entirely. I was starting to think that I was completely off my rocker.I read like ten thousand reviews this time, and it paid off. THESE ARE THE SLIPPERS! They arrived on a Monday night, and I legit moved Tuesday and Wednesday appointments so that I could stay home and keep them on. I know how that sounds. But I've been looking for them for a year! (The carpet photos are the immediate photos.)They're perfectly cozy and warm. SO SOFT. Like other reviewers have said, when you first put them on, it feels like they might be too small--they are cushiony from every angle, including against your big toe--but after a day, they form to your foot and feel perfect. They STAY ON! They haven't slipped off ONCE! They don't even slip around! I can leap onto the bed; sit on the floor with my feet out, cross my legs--they stay right there like soft little hooves. The memory foam is still cushy after a week of near-constant wear, which is amazing. There isn't really arch support--it's memory foam in a comfy way, not a supportive way--but did you expect arch support in your slippers? Buy some arch supports. The rubber sole is perfect for running to get the mail, and even kept my feet dry while running through the grass for 10 minutes when the cat got out. They did already get slightly pilly, but like I said, I have barely taken them off, so I'm not surprised. And who are you trying to impress at home anyway?I am so excited. I may not ever buy $100 slippers after all, and just get three more pairs of these.p.s. I wear a 9.5 pretty much always. The site recommended the 10 and it was perfect.
