Review on Turkish Spindle Natural Accessory Beginners by Lori Aguirre

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Too heavy to support the fibers for which the spindles are designed

These spindles are 2 times heavier than traditional Turkish wood or Dynawood spindles of the same size. You have a good spin; However, the "arms" need to be hollowed out of the perforation to reduce weight. You will tear your fibers (especially thin fibers with a smaller spindle) or tire your hands and wrists prematurely.

Pros
  • Light and practical: this Turkish spindle is very light but the center of gravity is stable. It can turn your messy natural wool into exquisite yarn and make the weaving process more efficient.
