When I saw this Hurley sweater at Revain, it immediately caught my eye. This is a great looking sweater with the Hurley logo on one sleeve. Made from 100% polyester and it's not my favorite fabric, it still feels nice and is perfect for those chilly days and evenings in spring and fall. The neck and 1/4 zip give you the option of partially or fully zipping up and this will cover your neck and half your face if you so desire, great when it's chilly and the wind blows around you blows. . It arrived in a medium size and although it is a youth size it feels a bit small and can make it a bit tight. I know all my nephews love oversized loose fitting sweaters so while they will love it the size may not be right for them. I'll find out when they come over the Christmas holidays. This Hurley pullover is made with Dry-Fit technology which will appeal to active boys/girls or men/women who wear it and prefer sweat to evaporate through the fabric rather than rolling down the skin causing a feeling of discomfort and sweat develops underneath. That. Hurley loves surf related clothing and accessories as you can see from the design of this sweater. I'm from South Jersey and have lived a block from the beach for most of my young life. I know the name Hurley well, as do most beach bums (bums!) and he was a big name in surfing when I was a kid. At the time I didn't know a single surfer who didn't want a Hurley board, despite being from California (we weren't into California surfers, there were a lot of waxheads with longboards who thought Jersey was full of Barneys who were nothing but Frubs were and we thought Cali was full of Jakes and Paddlefish and Hodads so voila!) leaders in the field designing and building boards and then clothing lines when they teamed up with Billabong. The Hurley brand was finally launched in 99, led by (Bob) Hurley, who was deeply ingrained in his mind for a few decades in the surf lifestyle and is still making great models like this 20 years later. Pretty cool for a 20-year-old kid who used to be a beach goer and waiter, decided to build boards, and is now a legend in the surfing world and worth a multi-million dollar fortune. Anyway (I've lost my way since this took me back to my lazy beach days), this Hurley sweater will appeal to any kid who has a passion for surfing, skating, boarding and the Hurley legend. It currently costs around $54, which is a decent price for any Hurley sweater. I can't imagine many teenagers wouldn't mind finding this under the tree for the holidays or for whatever reason. I'm a great looking sweater and worth the money.
