We've used Traefik and it's always worked flawlessly
Easy to configure, easy to use through its web interface or command line tools (CLI). Has been working perfectly with our infrastructure thus far. No issues so far! Definitely worth considering if you're looking into an open source alternative that is reliable enough for your needs. So far I have had no problems using this platform in my daily tasks as well as when building out new applications/pipelines. It has really helped me reduce complexity by providing access via APIs instead of having to manage multiple services myself.
Pros
- Simple deployment runs just like other serverless functions such at those provided from AWS' Lambda service.
- CLI commands can be used directly which allows scripting / automation support without too many dependencies required.
- Can easily add cloud specific features later down the road once there are more available options within their ecosystem
