I tried on two pairs of these shoes. Here's the thing: These shoes are perfect with one exception, so I sent them back a second time because I felt guilty about how my son's feet looked after a day of wearing them. The tongue of the shoe is not long enough and the velcro strap hangs over the tongue causing the top of the foot to become red and irritated even in thick socks. He never complained about them so when I first bought them we kept them until he outgrew them. I thought it was a one off mistake. I recently repurchased them and it was the same so I went back. I want them to fix that because it's a really nice shoe, very light and, apart from a tongue/strap defect, feels comfortable.
