Received replacements for a defective pair which I sent back and arrived 2 days later. Thanks seller. Also, this pair sounds just as good as my original pair, making them very good at this price point. I don't know about the pair I sent back. This bumps it up a star for audio fidelity, but until I work on that I'll have to wait for a build quality star. -------------------------------------------------- ----- --------------------------------------------- ---------- --- --------------(ORIGINAL) I've owned a pair of these for years. Best sounding on-ear headphones I've ever owned including B&O, Sennheiser etc. I abused them the whole time I had them; Gardening, home renovation, living room BT to TV, yada yada yada. These things connect, work and sound great. The battery life is more than enough to never bother me with how often I have to charge it. It's just not a question. One day my son lost his buds and grabbed a 540 from my office to go to training. fathers are there. You know what happened next. He claimed her as his. I have decided to order a new pair. I'm sending back a new pair after three weeks because the volume up button broke while mowing. Just put it in and it's stuck. Sending them back would do, but I have to agree with Eric in his March review. They don't sound like my original pair. Not even close. Natural sounding bass and mids are now shallow and just not exciting. Tomorrow I will have a spare pair and will follow this review. I hope this is an isolated case as I'm dying to get my old Koss 540s back.
