Review on Bolle Python Sunglasses: Stylish, Protective Eyewear for Unmatched Outdoor Adventures by Troy Rotermund

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good lenses, uncomfortable frame

Blue lenses are quite good and comfortable in both bright light and cloudy weather, ie not too dark. They offer very good contrast and depth of field. They outperform brown lenses for better contrast, but are comfortable even on cloudy days. Both lenses have some form of anti-fog protection and it works. I wanted to like them but found the frames to be oppressive and the nose pads hard and prone to blistering. didn't want to go through it to find out. Update: The Python frame is too small for me and I'm medium height (glasses size M). The glasses that fit me, King, although marked L, bought Ibex because of this lens: Gb10. The IBex frames are very comfortable but a bit big, people still love them and I get compliments. If you are looking for medium/small GB10 lenses, try Kaymans. I am writing about Gb10 lens options because they are very good all day, in all lighting conditions and in shaded areas. The Blue Offshore lens is similar but a few degrees darker for desert/beach, on the water on a sunny day. I have Costas, Revos, Serengetis, Oakleys and it's a very good sharp polarized lens with great contrast and depth.
