I was hesitating between purchasing this dome and the Membrane Dome II and am so glad I went with this option!1. You can't beat the price! It's about $100 cheaper than the Aperture and differs only in that it doesn't have a gel filter.2. The build quality is excellent! Very well put together, they are mistaken for one piece and that is The Grid. The net looks VERY cheap! If they cut the corner here to lower the price, I wish they hadn't. I almost ripped it several times and have to be very careful to take it off! So, just one thing to note!3. Dual layer diffusion is perfect! The color balance does not change and it turns out very soft! Amazing light! But I wish they had made the web stronger! Perhaps take some notes from Godox in this area!
