Update March 2019: 9 months later and several trips with these bags. I've taken these campsites and everywhere in between. We have just returned from a month long trip through Colorado, Wyoming, Oregon, California and Canada for winter snowboarding and family trips. They hold up fantastic and a bottle of conditioner exploded on the last ride but my clothes were perfectly protected in these cubes. People need to understand that "compression" zippers are really meant to manage excess cube fabric when packing light weight items and are not really meant to compress clothing as it's not really possible, especially when packing jeans and other hard materials. Imagine trying to fit two sizes down in your pants, but it just won't happen, and more and more jeans are being made stretchy and stretchy to compensate, and the same principle applies to packing the dice, they are so stretchy that people have to learn how to pack less and less realistically. Update June 2018: I've just returned from a month long trip across 3 countries and I can't rate it enough! They actually save a lot of space, unlike other reviews. It saved me a lot of time when I had to change hotels every 24-48 hours. Neither hotel had drawers or dressers so accessing and repacking the clothes was a pleasure. They also helped separate my clean clothes from dirty ones and I really liked the mesh which helped my clothes breathe when sometimes they were still packed slightly damp from washing. I bought new clothes while traveling and ended up having to fully undo the compression zippers to make room for extra stuff. I stuffed these pockets to the top and the zippers and stitching held. I will not travel without them on any domestic or international trip. My only issue was that the set didn't come with 4 dice. Haven't traveled with them yet, but they're packed and ready for a month-long trip across Asia. I wanted something aesthetically pleasing and I really like the color. The big one has 12 or more shirts, the middle one has 4 pants and I plan to pack a light but long dress and another pair of pants, the small one has 3 pairs of socks, 6 pairs of bras and 6 pairs of underwear. I have a small fully stressed and strained seam and the compression zip still works with no issues. They are excellent quality and better than I expected. I cannot foresee that the stitching will rip anytime soon unlike the set I bought my husband.
