Review on Lineway Ceiling Activated Basement Equivalent by Becky Guyer

movement works! cumbersome assembly, plastic shade is OK

Pros: I love the motion detection. It is installed in a very short room with a 10 inch ceiling and light colored walls, and the light/lumen intensity and color are good. Other designs have a lens tint. However, once this has been installed I cannot tell if this shade is plastic. Cons: Difficult to install by one person. other designs have a single post *articulated* to allow you to "open" the frame. This design requires you to hold the frame and lampshade with one hand and attach the nuts to the posts with the other and third hand. Other designs also have a *keyhole* hole for attachment to a ceiling box.

Pros
  • Four modes: dark mode, the light turns on automatically within the range of the motion sensor, turns off automatically after setting the time without motion; In dim mode, the light has 30% brightness with no motion detection and 100% brightness after the radar sensor is triggered; Day mode works day and night; Night mode only works in the dark.
Cons
  • Some issues
