I bought this for a Camry and it fits perfectly. Our 26 lb dog doesn't like to ride in the car and always stays in the dog bed, this is her personal space. I had an issue where the foam sided dog bed didn't fit the seat snugly and I had to place a large blanket or pillow between the back of the seat and the dog bed. I was always afraid that if you brake too hard, the bed (and dog) would fly into the "gap". (ie: tear = rear passenger legroom). This keeps the bed in place without an open crack. If you use one of these "pop up" kennels, it will also stay in place. It also prevents most dogs from climbing into the front seats via the console. If you want your dog to climb into the front seats with you, simply unzip to reveal a hole. It's so easy to put on and take off and it folds up small. This is a durable quality vinyl fabric. I see no need to put it in the washing machine. If it has become very dirty, it can be cleaned and washed out of the hose. I know you need to wear a seat belt and for those with one there are specially placed slots to reveal the seat belts.
