Just a little too bright.

I think it depends on how bright you like your license plate lights. They are so bright you could almost mistake them for reversing lights. Literally illuminated the ground a few feet behind the car. I removed them from the car, cleaned the old fixtures and put in spare LED bulbs and this combo is so much better. Again, this is my personal opinion, you might like the blindingly bright license plate. Another note, they came with foam pads, but the pads are much narrower than stock.
