Almost every local store only carries the 210 "universal" flush valve and they will tell you "it will work" but what they don't tell you is that the 210 valve more than doubles the water flow per flush and is the cause of the is the usual "double flush" you see with the 210 valve on a 160 toilet. This valve uses 1.6 gallons per flush. flush while the white valve 210 uses 3.5 gallons per flush. Those Mansfield toilets really need that 211 valve and Korky 528Z silent cleaner. The Korky valve eliminates the old ball float, 50% less noise when filling the tank, and the "Z" version saves water by stopping the tank from filling in the event of a leak instead of just wasting tons of water and constantly using the run the toilet. I considered buying new, more efficient, and quieter toilets, but the 211 flush valve and Korky fill valve give me many of the benefits of a newer toilet for around $30.
