Review on 📚 Natural Winsome Juliet Bookshelf by Julie Lemus

This shelf fits the space perfectly but I don't understand how the two shelves I received could pass quality control. On the first one shelf looks like a large chunk has been burned, gouged or otherwise destroyed and replaced with other wood, with patches of wood putty not even smoothed over. Long dark black bands are visible around the damaged area. The top shelf and one side panel had blue markings around the edges. I sent it back for a replacement - the second had the same defect but in a less noticeable spot. There are also no wooden plugs covering the screw holes. The only reason I'll keep it if I do is because I can't find anything else that suits the place. DO NOT BUY THIS if you are interested in looks over utility! Thoughtful design, but poorly finished.
