Bought for light support after abdominal surgery. Works well and provides a smoother look under clothing. If you want strong control of your tummy, this is not it. It's made more for easy support and control. I read the reviews and decided on the M/L, I'm 5ft 5" and 150lbs, a smaller size would still fit. The top does not roll down and has elastic around it. The ribs are lightweight and won't bite the skin and prevent the top from rolling off.
