Didn't need or really want a bubbler ring, just a nice encapsulated light for a 2 gallon tank that won't go out when condensation forms on it. I taped it to the inside of my aquarium lid and now I have light again after the original LED stick died from exposure to moisture. This is the fate of most LED lights that come with new aquariums. They will get wet and die within 4-6 months, and their replacement will suffer the same fate. At less than $10 it's a steal, offers a lot of light and color changes which I don't want, but it's slow enough and the color change is smooth enough that I prefer it to regular white light. I'll report back later if water leaks here and a short circuit occurs.
