Does the Job!: Mattress Covers

My full size 8" memory foam mattress has shrunk to about 2". I think it could get smaller if someone help me draw the edges. I was able to put the bag on and roll by myself without help. The included straps have Velcro straps and built-in handles that make it easy to lift and move. The pouch is about the same thickness as a regular space pouch, so you REALLY need to be careful not to puncture it. If it were thicker, there would be sharp points when vacuuming which would damage the bag as it would be easier to poke holes. I've worked with a lot of vacuum bags, so I find it best to keep tugging on the edges of the plastic to keep the surface of the bag as flat as possible. I also suggest trying to position the vacuum valve directly over what you're vacuuming so it doesn't just suck the other side of the plastic against the back of the valve and slow down the vacuum process. I was worried about puncturing the bag the first night because it made noise, but I think it just sagged. So far so good and everything is fine.
