This great microphone does not come with the speaker/receiver shown in the picture but it works GREAT! On the computer, right click on the speaker in the bottom toolbar of the computer and set it up in the settings for recording etc. You can even set up the computer speakers or external speakers to work as a monitor/amplifier. We have EQ editing programs etc on our computer so we can also change the sound quality and special effects etc. It sounds great and it's a good quality mic and I would recommend it for anything from singing to lectures books to movies etc, make sure you turn it off while charging (so the indicator goes off when it's charging). fully charged, otherwise the indicator is always on). It also connects to a $10 mic with an FM radio amplifier sold by the same company, works with it and sounds great. And yes, I paid for it myself, so I received no compensation for this very honest excellent review.
