I was told about this food by a family member who was advised by a vet to use for his dog after kidney stones. I have a very picky mini doxy and she scared me with health issues for no reason. She is 7 years old and has never been sick. I have always used healthy dry dog food and given her supplements and bottled water. In a panic, I ordered this the same day, along with cranberry powder, and she ate it right away. She got better, no bleeding and frequency for a week. She has had changes in her bowel habits but they have leveled off. She's eating more than usual, but that's probably healthier for her and a sign she's digesting well. After a few days, I almost had to force her to eat it by putting it in my hands. I have no idea what could be causing this but she hasn't eaten all day and ended up eating her kibble from hunger so I think she likes it. Yes there is some grease in the jar but I think it's normal and it smells nice. No crumpled cans, 2 year expiration date and I love seeing little food items in them just proving it's real food. Thank you for that, please keep the prices reasonable. The price has already gone up $4 since I bought it and for some reason my 40% coupon didn't apply. I didn't want to cancel as it was urgent so I called and Amazon gave me a loan.
