Review on Selfie Stick Bluetooth Tripod Extendable by Katie Moore

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great!: Photo & Video Accessories

Good. I am currently writing my first review. I'm a big fan of the star ratings in Revain. I almost never buy anything without first reading the reviews (after making sure the average score is at least 4 stars). So it was a bit unusual to buy this device without reading any of the reviews. But the price was so attractive and allowed an unsuccessful purchase. I was looking for a glow stick. Weight was the most important factor in my search. This block is listed at 3.88 oz (the description has been hidden in the "Product Description" at the bottom of the pages). It was about half the weight of most other sticks. The fancier the stick got, the heavier it got. I don't know the actual weight. I have no way of weighing it. But the stick seems to be very light. It's actually surprisingly light considering the size of the handle, which is around 4 inches. The bar itself appears to be aluminum. But the description says stainless steel. If so, then it is very thin stainless steel. Since I only received it today, the durability rating will definitely have to wait. The grip (which holds the phone) is a bit tight. But I believe it will loosen up as I keep using it. The remote button is great. Very simple Bluetooth. Scan "Xiong Tu" (Now I know it's from China. Couldn't find the origin in the descriptions). An application is not required. Easy to use. He's black and tiny. It may be difficult for me to find it later. So far, so good. This is way better than I had hoped. It's light, slim, and cheap (but doesn't look cheap). This is the goalkeeper. Highly recommended. ---- Postscript. I am writing from Chamonix-Mont-Blanc, France. I took the USB stick with me on this 11-day journey through the Alps. I used the stick with the Galaxy S21. Used about 8 hours every day, made videos and photos. I'm very satisfied with this product. I am posting some photos from this trip. The stick is very light. The remote button works well and is in a fairly convenient location. It takes 7 to 10 seconds to connect via Bluetooth for the first shot. After that, the connection remains activated. However, the connection will become inactive after some period of inactivity (I don't know how many minutes). The battery has been running for 10 days now. However, as a precaution, I bought a few more when I was in Zermatt. It was a surprise that the K Kiosk had a battery. I had my flash drive in the back pocket of my jeans and my phone in my breast pocket. Attaching the phone to the stick was easy. All in all, this is a wonderful product. Worth many times its price. However, there are some disadvantages. (1) The remote control button is too small to carry separately from the joystick. It's the same color as the pole, so it's easy to lose. (2) The stick does not stand by itself. Considering the extra weight of the phone, a tripod is practically useless. You have to balance the camera properly and hope the wind doesn't blow. (3) The phone clip at the end of the stand cannot be tightened. The only thing the phone hangs on is the spring; and there is no way to guarantee that the handle will withstand a sharp tilt. Very happy with it.

  • Bluetooth Selfie Stick
Cons
  • Cable shorter than others
