My oldest (19 year old) cat has a problem with fleas and because of her health issues I didn't want to put her on flea medication. I have this flea comb to see if I can control fleas this way. I'm amazed at how well it works and how easy it is to use! Plus, it's gentle on the skin as it has rounded tips so it doesn't irritate my princess' bony body! I just combed it gently and the fleas were caught on the comb! I then placed the comb in a plate filled with water mixed with dish soap to kill and trap them before removing them from the comb while the comb was in the water (to prevent the fleas from getting on my kitten jump back!). And my cat loves to clean too! For 3 days combing my girl only a few times a day I didn't catch about 30 fleas, but only 1! And my girl now sleeps more soundly and is less itchy - which means the comb should work! I plan to comb my kitten with this comb every day to catch any new ones who dare disturb my princess.
