I have this heater to warm up my mud room. It is well sealed but not heated unless we leave the second door to the house open. I don't like doing this because it gets cold in the living room and it takes a while for the temperature to even out. I figured if it's snowing and we have wet gear that we want to dry, adding some extra heat to dry the gear will really help. It didn't have room for a standalone unit, so this little unit is just the right size. For such a small device, it dissipates heat very well. My thermometer doesn't measure air temperature, but as you can see, the elements are getting nice and warm. My mud room is maybe 8x8 at most and so far I've let it run for an hour and it has warmed up to the temperature of the rest of the house by the time the door is opened. I also think it would be great in a small bathroom where you don't want to freeze when you get out of the shower.
