This laptop was a necessary purchase for me. After reading numerous evaluations, I thought I was going to get a powerful laptop that would last a long time and be fantastic for using apps and surfing the web. The end result was a 1.35-kilogram computer that can do everything I need it to! It works as advertised and has a long lifespan and quality construction. When playing without a power source, DOTA 2 uses medium-high settings (textures at maximum, shadows at minimum), whereas when connected to a power source, it uses maximum settings. And it's all in proper resolution; DotA takes care of the controls on its own. It's clear that a laptop designed for use away from home or the workplace can meet the requirements of even the most avid college gamer. Of course, having access to a gaming PC is great, but it's also wonderful to know that you can carry around a powerful computer whenever you need it.
