Unexpectedly I had to take 6 five-week-old kittens to raise. I only had a large 5ft cat cage and was concerned they might get on board and fall off. So I hung two of them at strategic points to cushion any fall. They did a great job for that (no one fell, but it made their descent easier). And as they got a little older and more stable on their feet, they liked it when they slept in them. To wash them I used a large delicates bag which kept the metal clips from rattling around in my washing machine. They flushed like a dream. Excellent purchase!
