Surprisingly neat and compact. My 10 year old loves old school stuff. That's why I ordered it because it's very similar to old-school Walkmans but digital. He loved it when he opened the box and I have to admit I wouldn't mind using it on myself either. The volume of the external speaker is quite good. The video shows pretty well, you just have to keep the screen slightly centered or it will. slightly darker when viewed from the side (come on, this isn't an iPhone). This is clearly not 1080 or 4k. but it's enough for 10 years. Didn't know I had to use a mini SD card to add music but luckily I had it around the house somewhere. The music sounds good too. Overall not a bad buy. By the way, the screen isn't touch-sensitive, although the buttons are touch-sensitive. just so you know
