I've been using this protein powder for about 3-4 years. I've only used two other protein powders. Body Fortification with Chocolate and Peanut Butter. (Tastes like Resses Cup.) They sell cheap at my local Walmart. $18 for 2 pounds. In contrast, the now has £2 for $31. The other was ON protein powder. I used to buy chocolate with a double rich taste. And it will be in a red and black case. They also had some flavors that this one doesn't have. I've never had to try that. For example coffee and mocha cappuccino. The reason I stopped using these other proteins was because I was starting to get tired of their taste. And because of that, I started to be scared of taking protein shakes. Used black and red software for about 3 years. And Body Fortress around the same time for about a year and a half. The taste was too strong. Especially the BF, which doesn't surprise me since it's so cheap. BF has different flavors and 30g of protein per serving instead of ON's 24g. But her shovel is much bigger. And I honestly agree paying almost double for the quality of this product. This one was definitely my favorite of the three. And I plan to continue drinking it for years to come. I think I've only gotten vanilla flavor for this one so far. But I'm so happy with the taste. That I don't really feel the need to switch. I'm just going to mix it with water as a bottom line. Like when I ran out of whole milk or almond milk. I like it best with whole milk. Also, whole milk adds more protein. I think it tastes best with water. Whenever I drink it, I just mix it in one of my coffee mugs. And it dissolves very easily. What else I like about this powder. The taste is not strong, but vanilla can be felt. But sometimes I add some vanilla coffee creamer to enhance the flavor. Overall I am very happy with this protein. And never got tired of the taste. When I worked 11-13 hours at my last job. what was in stock. I would drink 2 times a day, 5 times a week. Together with coffee during the break or at lunch. Literally whenever I was out of coffee and protein. I felt so tired and lethargic at work. As if I had only slept for an hour. I highly recommend this product and this brand. I use and take other dietary supplements. All of this brand are ON. My creatine, BCAA, HMB and ZMA. I used to take everything when I was training every day a few years ago. But now I don't. From now on I will just try to get most of my protein from real food. For example eggs, tuna, peanut butter, chicken, tilapia, ham, almonds and cottage cheese. I've always heard that most protein is best obtained from real foods. Regardless, I still take 1-2 of these protein shakes pre and post workout. :) And I suppose it's a good alternative if you don't have direct access to protein foods. Or are you vegan.
