One of the few brands that makes real brown mascara that makes long and thick lashes fast and without shedding. The brush is perfect: wide enough to brush through lashes, with a rounded tip to pluck tiny lashes vertically or to cover all lashes vertically, covering the tips first and then brushing for maximum length! One of the best mascaras. Has never been used underwater so cannot comment on water wear. Very expensive mascara, not found on sale yet, but I'll look. Lancôme Hypnose (regular, not dramatic) and L'Oreal Voluminous also come in brown and are at both ends of the price spectrum, but both fall off slightly. The Benefit product is much better, I just wish the brown was a little warmer. There are drugstore products that look great in black/brown, but it's hard to find a warm brown that suits redheads and some warm-eyed blondes best.
