I made the decision to use it only as a photo storage because of the fast data transfer rate. transferred from all previous inf. carriers on him. Eventually the drive just stopped working after seven months. Nothing could be repaired at home because the sectors were damaged. The outcome is a 15 thousand dollar repair. (Advice to all: duplicate once, duplicate twice, and duplicate three times. Maybe I came across a copy of it. But I'm now leery about WD.
