Maybe my dog is just super picky (he is), but she snubbed the Cloud Star Trail Hound Endurance Fuel treat for active dogs. These treats are advertised as having "active canine ingredients," but don't worry—I think they'll work for lazier weekend warriors, too. These treats contain the following ingredients (listed in order): ground whole oats, barley, ground potatoes, amaranth (Mary! what happened to the weeds in the food?), rolled oats, sunflower hearts, apples, carrots, bananas, yogurt, flax seeds , Kelp (Algae), Beta Carotene, Green Tea Extract, L-Carnitine, Mixed Tocopherols (Natural Preservatives). Although these ingredients are healthy and all-natural, remember that dogs have very low carb needs, so even very active dogs don't need a carb load. However, if you have a picky dog, any dog can enjoy them in moderation. I was blown away and neither was my dog (my real tester). A paw down for palatability.
