Last HP product for me

I only needed to print envelopes. This is the only goal. I bought it because it claims to hold 30 envelopes, which is more than most other inkjet printers. I have an HP laser printer to scan/print everything else. First off, the driver that comes on CD or as a download doesn't work on Windows 10 Enterprise N. Once installed, it doesn't print from Word, Excel, text files, etc. However, it does print from the web browser. I've tried IE, Firefox and Chome and it successfully printed all 3 but refused to print from any other file type. I could see the print job queuing briefly and disappearing while it was being printed (no errors), but nothing came out of the printer. After much research I found the universal printer driver and BINGO! downloaded, all printed. Two days of my life wasted on a stupid printer driver. So let's start with the envelope test. what an epic failure. I use envelope cleaning and printing for my business. The printer's pickup roller is located just above the envelope flap, which is on the left side. Envelopes are loaded with long flaps on the left. In each case, the feed roller touched a small piece (I mean a small, 3/32 inch) of the "peel strip" and then failed to pick up the envelope 99% of the time. On rare occasions it actually came loose, the "slip" of the tear strip in contact with the roller twisted the envelope between 10 and 45 degrees, rendering it unreadable. and prints envelopes perfectly when oriented that way. But that means your address will be printed upside down on the front of the envelope. How unprofessional does that look?!? My old HP 6100 never had this problem. He lasted about 3 years. I can't wait for the color cartridges to dry and I have to buy a kit to get the printer working even though I only print in black and white. This is absolutely the last HP product I will ever buy.
