I recently decided that the few leather jackets I own are better stored in the summer than just unprotected hanging in my closet so I took a set of these 7 garment bags with me. I really only used 3 of these for leather jackets, but I used the other 4 for other types of jackets. For me, the most important feature of garment bags was that they need to be breathable, as this is imperative for storing a leather jacket (NEVER store a leather jacket in a plastic or other non-breathable bag). The 24" x 40" size worked perfectly and is the size that fits most types of jackets to the waist. Now that I have them in my hands, I am happy with the end result. However, I am not very confident in either the overall quality or the durability/reliability of these bags. I would rate the quality as "good, but not outstanding". The main thing is lightning. All 7 pockets in my bag had a small portion of the zipper that was open at the bottom. This was easily remedied by gently pulling the zipper all the way through and then all the way back. Once I did that I was able to tuck the jacket in and then zip it back up with no problem. However, a high-quality garment bag will not be delivered in this condition. Let's see if they last many years, which I hope. They came with a pack of 5 cedar mothballs, a nice little extra.
