Good Budget Lights & Accessories

First let me start by saying that these (like all other replica/less expensive headlights) are NEVER as bright or as good as the more expensive options. like JW Speaker, Nolden, VisionX, KC Headlights, Truck Lite etc. Secondly, I would like to note the crappy packaging of these headlights. plastic cover) from bumping into other headlights during transport. Revain sent me a new kit straight away and while the packaging was still complete rubbish the replacement unit at least didn't have a single scratch. AT A GLANCE: Works, fairly wide beam, brighter than halogen and looks good. Good budget headlights (pics attached - I tried to get the brightness as accurate as possible) LONG REVIEW: These are basically copies of Jeep JL Mopar LED headlights and I've always liked the look of the new Jeep OEM ones headlight. Nobody did their lines for a while until they came out [Spring 2019]. I like the reflector style body and the modern style of the average projector. I also like how the halo is well camouflaged behind the lens (unlike some that just have a white band around it giving it a cheap look such as replica JW speakers which are very popular ). Performance: * Halo is nice and bright, no dead LED chips and visible from a distance. * Low Beam (Projector) - The beam width is slightly better than average. The color is pure white (5000k I would say) and bright enough for the price. The low beam appears to use two LED chips and the projector appears to have two optical lenses giving two different throws. One projector works with the center distance, while the other focuses on the width of the illumination. There seem to be two small problems. First you might notice that the lighting is brighter in the middle than in the width. This does not affect visibility, but there is a difference. Second, while the center has a nice cut line, the edges curve awkwardly upwards. It's not scary and it doesn't seem to blind people. * High beam (reflector) - The lower and upper parts are reflectors and each have three high beam LED chips [total 6 high beam LED chips]. Halo and low beam stay on when high beam is active. The high beam really shines with this headlight and I can't say anything negative about it. The lens looks cheap. (as mentioned above, my first set was completely scratched). Not sure how it will take road debris, only time will tell and I will update. at a later time. When the light was on, many micro-scratches appeared on the lens (this does not affect the light output). it's cast aluminum). Whereas the more expensive headlight cooler looks more metallic and noticeably heavier. Despite this, it seems to distribute the heat without any problems. Wiring Harness: The connector and wires look good and plug and play with my car. Package Contents: * Sized to fit any 7" hole (clamps may be required). depending on the vehicle). * These headlights are actually much deeper than regular projector style headlights (From where the headlight rests on the bracket to the end where the wire protrudes the depth is around 79-80mm (+32mm of the lens which also protrudes the front lens) a bit further although they aren't as bad as Truck-Lite LED headlights, just measure the depth of where you are going to install them as they may be for non jeep vehicles They fit my 2016 BMW R NineT bike for my Triumph Thruxton 1200, due to the existing wiring in the bucket on that bike the headlight couldn't fit in (again these LED headlights are twice the depth of a typical aftermarket LED -Headlights).GENERAL: The reason I gave it 4 stars is the packaging is terrible, the quality of the lenses is questionable for long term use, and the low beam is true pretty decent, but not as bright as more expensive options. If you can afford it, buy more genuine brands, it's worth the money. If you are on a budget then I would say these are probably the best generic brand LED headlight options out there. They don't look cheap (although they appear cheap), they have decent low beam brightness with a good cut-off. Make no mistake buying $160 for a pair.
