We got these type socks before and they're great.I'm giving these socks 5 STARS because my 16 yr old loves these socks. She said "they're magical" because her feet didn't feel all sweaty and nasty after running on the treadmill for almost an hour. My daughter is amazed at how well these work and didn't realize what a difference socks could make when running. She didn't even have to use the Friction Stick (to prevent blisters) w/these socks.I got these socks for my teen daughter and they fit her well. She wears a US Women's size 9.5/10 in shoes.These socks look cool w/the different colors, but they serve a purpose too. These socks have different support zones. The arch, the top of the foot where the laces and tongue would rest/rub, the heel & ball of the foot, and last but not least, the handy little heel tab that keeps the back of the sneakers from rubbing on the heel. Even though the heel tab looks odd, it's especially helpful for sneakers that have the v-groove in the heel area because it offers a cushion against the sneaker heel.These socks fit tightly, but not too tight. They offer support and don't shift on the feet.The only issue my daughter had was that they're a bit warm, but she doesn't mind it.
