Oversized plastic perfect for parties. There are basically 5 of them. Base, center section - main section, spout (with washers), center ice cream holder (removable - use or not use - your choice) and lid. They come together easily and hold plenty of liquid (I put 5 large tea containers - about 1 1/2 liters (?) in size and he didn't fill them to the top with the ice holders installed. I recommend as other reviewers have pointed out made sure to attach the spout carefully. I haven't had any leaks! They are quite large so you need a nice deep sink. I actually used my sink for washing because it's even deeper than my kitchen sink to fit into the main body of the drink and reduce keeping the footprint to a minimum I have re-stored the plastic bags they were packaged in and used them to keep them dust free when stored I am very happy with this purchase having said that - I always update mine Reviews when the new information seems useful.
