Review on Rivet Contemporary Welt Trimmed Dining Juniper by Heather Johnson

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Nice chairs, some corners cut off in the assembly details

These chairs look and feel premium - a really nice, clean look. Definitely five stars for the aesthetics. Two stars deducted because of the leg attachments were disappointing. The kit uses brass bolts and zinc t-nuts that come pre-assembled to the legs of the chair. These are soft, cheap metals that *flex* and warp over time. One of the soft metal nuts on the leg was already broken and we had to send two replacement chairs. Better quality steel fittings would have prevented this and if the nuts weren't pre fitted in the legs I could fix it with a simple trip to the hardware store. If legs inevitably start to wobble in the not too distant future we'll try to find a way to replace cheap metal fittings with more durable and quality ones.
