It is very difficult to put on a jacket for a dog. The increase in size means the average size is 25% larger than the small etc. So the average gooby in the chest on my 12.5 lb Havapoo is slightly larger (16.5 inches in the chest and 15 inches in the Length). The velcro allows for a snugger fit but can get caught on my dog's long coat. Finally, it is very easy to put on. However, the zipper broke the first time it was washed in the washing machine (gentle cycle). The return date has already passed, but Revane allowed me to return and exchange the vest. So I just washed my second vest. Once again, the flash failed the gentle cycle. Revan gave me credit.
