My 3.5 year old is by no means small. His drop is tight and I wanted something that ties together so they fit properly. They have a wrong connection so I was disappointed when I found out about it. BUT they still fit, so don't worry. They are a little baggy, which is very comfortable to play with. They are also a bit long so my boy can wear them for a long time and grow up in them. Thinner material so they don't keep him warm in the cold but they are great for chilly spring and fall days. He even likes to sleep in it.
