I bought it for travel but ended up using it around the house from time to time. It's not small, but it's still compact enough, and the cable is thick and durable. The cable is about a finger thick. I bought the white because it's a bit cheaper but you can see the dirt/stains easier. :) It has a tiny light on it so you know it's on. I recently used it on my trip and had to close the light. It's not very bright but I'm concerned about the light and also it was on a table so the light was at my eye level. We connected 3 phones, 1 iPad, a power bank and a portable speaker and everything charged. I just have to remember to press the button to turn it on. I love it so far.
