Review on ๐ŸŽ’ Vintage Canvas Backpack Tan by Sweetbriar by Rich Fiedler

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Very nice laptop bag!

Just received and tried it today. My travel laptop is great when it fits snugly. This is a Dell Latitude D830. This is probably the majority of today's laptops. Pros: The overall construction feels solid. Good quality canvas. The lining is nice and soft for a laptop. There seems to be enough other zippered pockets for whatever you want to take with you. on which the rain falls. So far no one has mentioned seat belt adjusters so I will. At first I was impressed that the shoulder strap adjusters were metal and not plastic, but when I first tried carrying a backpack on one shoulder like a lot of people do, I really wanted this thing to be plastic because the metal is thin and *sharp*. I cut the inside of my right hand *twice* until I learned to be wary of the adjusters. I'm also concerned that sharp metal bits will damage any good (like leather) jacket I wear. Manufacturers should switch to plastic regulators. My solution for the adjusters would be to figure out the optimal length of straps to wear on your back, then wrap the adjusters with lots of pretty, soft fabric tape and never think about it again. A few drops of blood on my hand cost the prominent company, and I hope my warning will save other buyers from a few scratches. It's really wonderful to know about it. My last backpack survived 24 years of motorcycling and real abuse. I hope this one lasts just as long!
