I have a Big Shot but the material [something like an odd mix of paper and fabric] I used for the little star just couldn't keep up when it came to cutting; it didn't crumple or cut cleanly so I decided to try this kick. The kick works great; It cuts cleanly and quickly, is great for making lots of small sprockets quickly, and folds compactly thanks to the built-in lock. The punch itself measures 2-11/16" x 1-7/16" x 1" and has a star on the end for easy identification when storing. The size of the star it pierces is 5 /8 inches.
