Just buy them! So good, crazy price!

This is the short version, so much fun and so cheap. Decent for those who want a fun sounding IEM or a very inexpensive gift. Longer version: I should give a full review and update later…. BUT I bought 8 pairs of IEM/Earbud headphones in 2 weeks to see how far the technology has come as I have owned $100-$300 sets over the past 10 years. These KZ EDXs were highly priced and so cheap at $12 I figured I could use them as a wear kit or cannibalize their wires/earbuds etc if I wanted to. Also, Prime allowed me to just use my own earbuds and send them back as new. God…. I am shocked! This is by far *my favorite set* for uncritical listening…. and they were also the cheapest by a HUGE difference. And before you think I'm sure I worked in HiFi years ago and currently have a home setup that costs about the same as the average family car. My taste goes in the direction of tirelessness and nonchalance, whereby tonal and harmonic richness is very important to me (all my home setups are tube amps). Now I will stress that these are NOT the most accurate sounding in-ear headphones you can buy. /being heard/ etc…. They're not the richest, they're not the cleanest, they're not the clearest... and just because they don't fit well in some ears, they might just sound "good" or even bad to some... But im At the moment they are definitely my favorite fun sets. For me they are very comfortable and the music is so captivating that I just don't want to miss a single track. They bring you closer to the music (like I said, I like a more relaxed, distanced sound) but don't tire you out with that detuned mid-bass boost like so many who put their bass emphasis on the subwoofer. The mid and high frequency ranges are a bit *slightly* harsh and uneven. That's the price you pay for such a cheap kit though... They do really well with deep bass and have a sound reminiscent of a floor standing home audio system, not a "car audio system" with that punchy bass, which you get with 12" subwoofers in the trunk. I have a feeling that many "IEM enthusiasts" haven't heard a live music or hi-fi system that can really reproduce bass below 80Hz and don't forget/have none Any idea of the importance or engagement that well recorded music can bring. So forget the value, it's just downright fun to listen to! NOTE It's very important to me that my headphones work as well with my Apple iPhone and Spotify adapter sound as possible as for my normal use I can't be bothered with external DACs, adapters etc. The only changes I made to this review are Comply foam tips (highly recommended). el is pretty handy for my use, and the built-in remote/mic is handy. I just got a good quality thick replacement cable on one of my kits (yes I bought more) and I snapped a picture for you guys. This changes the sound somewhat, but isn't necessary as is the case with some hard headphone/inner headphone sets. They are very easy to use, very efficient. Yes. I have to end this. Just buy them...then buy some other sets to gift to friends. A great pair to get someone excited about quality sound.
