Review on 🌡️ KIZEN Infrared Thermometer Gun (NOT for Humans) - LaserPro LP300: Non-Contact Temperature Gun for Cooking, Home Repairs & Maintenance -58°F to 1112°F (-50°C to 600°C) by Brad Bryant

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great cheap infrared temperature gun but my dog hates the horn!

I often use this to make yogurt and check the temperature of hot water for tea. It's very cheap and does its job quite well. It's 5 stars because I love it. I can't vouch for the accuracy as I haven't tested it with anything else, but it seems good enough. quite noisy and I wouldn't use it in the office for example to make sure I'm at the right temperature but for some reason it really scares my dog! My dog hates it so much I resorted to opening it up and turning off the speaker. You can pry off the orange part of the cover with the buttons, the display and the speaker grill. There are 2 screws, one of them is hidden under Remove the battery cover flap on the front handle with a bend to remove this cover The speaker is soldered to the circuit board, it has a round, black connector, so cover it (has a small ⨁ -Mark). I unscrewed it with needle nose pliers and removed the contact. No more signals! I've attached some photos for others who may have this problem.
