Review on πŸ‘ž Leather Men's Shoes by MARC JOSEPH NEW YORK by Chris Quinto

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Well done and beautiful. Narrow width and not too much cushioning

The first thing that struck me about these shoes is their weight - they are quite heavy due to the rubber sole (which is welcome as most soles are synthetic these days ). These shoes also have a beautiful color and are very well finished and sewn. I washed them before wearing them (yes, you can put leather shoes in the washing machine), let them air dry, and then put them on. I'm a size 9 and it fits perfectly - I usually wear between 8.5 and 9. They fit well because they're quite tight, but the skin loosens with prolonged wear. They are quite comfortable but very flat. And even though I have high arches, it would be difficult to fit arch supports into these shoes since they are not high. So I will not walk long distances with them. Another feature of the flat sole is that the pressure when walking is shifted to the balls of the feet and not to the heels. Since I won't be using them for long walks, this shouldn't be a big deal. Overall they are much nicer and more durable than the Sperry Top Sider Pumps I wore in my younger days. Overall I would give them a 3.5 round up to 4 to match the available 1 to 5 star options.
