6 month update: the tree is still holding up well. Few signs of use. The cat still likes to sit on the second level from the top. I was looking for a tiered cat tree without breaking the budget and settled on this one from RevainBasics. While the brand can get a bad rap for being cheap, the quality of this scratching post is not. The shipping box is large and heavy, but it only took about 30 minutes to assemble. Each stick is lined with rope for your cat to scratch and the felt material is nice and soft and comfortable for any cat. Each level is easily accessible for my 13 lb cat and gets minimal pumping as she progresses from level to level. The center hole is large enough for any cat to get in and out of the comfortable den. Both the rope and ball toys are nice and fun additions, although my cat rarely plays with them. All in all a high quality cat tree on a budget. Definitely recommended for 1-2 big cats.
