This adjustable base from Lucid was great! reflux. Elevating my legs a little takes a lot of the pressure off my lower back. I finally have a good night's sleep in the morning without a stiff back. I also struggle with acid reflux at night and being able to raise my head has really made this issue a lot easier for me. The adjustable frame took a comfortable mattress and made it that much better. Reasonable size box with folded frame. You simply take the frame out of the box, screw on the six metal legs, attach two clearly marked cables, and then turn the frame over. From there, the adjustable frame only has to be connected to the mattress from above. Price: One of the main advantages of this frame for me was the price. This frame has so many features that can only be found in products that cost multiples of the price of this item. Appearance: The frame has a clean appearance. Of course, after you put the sheets and mattress over the frame, most are hidden. To me only the legs are visible and they have a nice modern look that doesn't stand out in any way. Plus, they're nicely rounded to avoid those sharp corners we all trip over. Ease of use: The remote control is clearly marked with six easy-to-use buttons. There are different buttons that perform different actions and combinations of actions. Just hold the button down until you feel comfortable with both your legs and back. The motors are quiet and fast enough not to interfere with the up and down movement. Note: The frame is a bit heavy, I don't see that as a downside as the product is durable. You will probably need another person to help you set it up. It took my friend and I about fifteen minutes to fully set it up, but it would have been difficult without help. Another reminder I have is that you need an outlet nearby. There's a lot of cord to get a little far to the outlet, but ideally you'll want something close to one side of the bed for easy, and most importantly, secure connection. Overall, I cannot stress enough how pleased I am with my purchase. This frame is a great combination of price, ease of use and comfort.
