I really like the bottles themselves but the closures are a problem. Of the two bottles I bought, one of the caps is crooked and it takes a lot of effort to get it to fit properly. The other goes a little softer, but here's the important thing: Both leave behind plastic "dust" on the neck after unscrewing the caps. This dust is like tiny plastic shavings that wear out when mismatched threads (on the neck and cap) rub together too hard. If you run your fingers through the threads, you can feel the roughness. I bought three of these bottles from the store a few years ago and the caps fit perfectly. They didn't rub and didn't leave plastic "sawdust". I don't like the idea of swallowing plastic every time I drink from a bottle. I would send them back but kept them for on the go. When the trip was over and I used the bottles for the first time, the return window was closed.
