Price and ease of use are second to none. I wouldn't use it as a "permanent" case as it doesn't offer shock protection and I have a good shockproof/waterproof case for that use. I also have a security wallet style that I use every day. They're good for when you're about to get wet somewhere (playing soccer? A day at the beach?) and want a little protection for your phone. It's so easy to just put your phone in and keep it dry. I had no problem getting the phone functions to work through the plastic surface, but I usually just text someone to tell them I'm at the south end of the field or sitting next to a big rock at the west end of the field. Beach. A word of warning. They tell you to check the water seal before use, which is what I did. I thought one of them had failed, but upon closer inspection it turned out to be my failure. I only left a tiny corner of the fabric on the seal, enough to absorb water and draw it into the case. So I think it's a good idea to always check the seal to make sure there aren't any grains of sand or other substances in it that could affect the seal.
