Review on Sabrent Docking Station Ports DS U301 by Jackie Barker

Oh my god, where do I start? I didn't have much experience with it. The first Revane lost on the way. The second one I was able to plug into my 10ft USB 3 cable worked fine with my old one and the USB ports didn't work, the drive didn't work. Before sending it back I decided to use the cable in the box and it looks like the problem is solved, the front ports worked and the docking stations read discs so I didn't return it and my best solution ignored. A few months later I noticed that the hard drive I was using turned off after being plugged in for a while and I assumed it was an old hard drive that was probably failing. Well a little more time passed and I tried to create a partition on a known good SSD and every time it hung in the middle of the process and then I rang USB in Windows when the disk disconnected I ended up having to make a others use adapters to finish the job. It looks good but it's actually rubbish, I wish I'd known sooner. Tldr: Fully test this dock when you receive it and if it doesn't work with longer USB 3 cables, send it back. The Revain rep I first spoke to about the missing, although the dock was good.
