Review on 🔥 Stay Warm and Cozy with K&H PET PRODUCTS Pet Bed Warmer by Maria Marshall

Update: It has been almost a week since I took the heating pad out of the thermopod to ship it back to Amazon. The thermal box, the bedding and my cat still smell of plastic. It's been an exceptionally cold winter so far and the heat in my apartment can be spotty. I was worried about keeping my two cats warm so I ordered two of these. One was for a kitten and fit into my K and H thermal pad. The other was to be used with the K and H bed for my older kitten. The heating pad I used as a hug got very hot. At first it was uncomfortable to hold a hand on it. I was a little apprehensive about leaving something that hot between the sofa and the bed. The second heating pad I used in the thermopod didn't get as hot. My kitty seems to like it very much. My problem is that the next morning when I hugged my kitten, his fur smelled strongly of plastic on the heating pad. Touching the linens in the thermal capsule left a plastic smell on my hand. I'm not sure what plastic the heating pads are made of, but usually plastic outgassing isn't very healthy. Given that cats constantly lick to clean themselves, I wonder how healthy flatulence can be. My concern is that with the thermal caps closed, nature will trap the gas and my kitty will be more exposed. Hoping the smell will go away within a day or two. If not, you may have to send them back. Pros: 1. Worked well in thermopod2. the kitten liked the warm pillow in her pods. 1. One pad was much hotter than the other2. The strong smell of gas made my cat smell like plastic3. Nervous about leaving something that gets too hot to touch. All in all I think Hotter will definitely come back. I'll give it another day or two for the plastic smell to go away from the second one or I'll have to return it. Note: I am a fan of K and H products. I have several of their products including a crib, raised crib, thermal pod, window hammock and window sill toy. With the exception of the marble run toys and new warmers, I have always found the quality of their products to be exceptional. Update: After reading other reviews about poison gases, products are coming back :(
