After reviewing many refurbished Chromebooks, I chose this one because it sounded like we were getting a new product. I've had many refurbished phones in the past with no problems, I thought it would. As soon as I unpacked it, I noticed scratches, some of which looked like chips. It was Christmas for my daughter and time was short so I bought her a pretty purple cover and hoped everything would be ok. We noticed a broken part of the USB ports a few weeks ago and a real kicker, we've only had it a little over 2 months and today she opened it up so the screen inside looked cracked and very damaged, it was good when She didn't use it anymore last night, put it in a suitcase and picked it up off the floor as she went to bed. There doesn't seem to be any reason for this other than having to pay $30 more for a brand new product even though we've only had it for 2 months. I don't think anything can be done. I'm just very frustrated girl until I can afford to buy her a new one.
